It's now quite common that some people in Mexico worship what they call "La santísima Muerte" (The holy Death). The cult to this icon demands absolute fervor to it. Some drug dealers, traffikers and assassins are devoted to this cult, also several educated persons in all Mexico who believe the Death itself could bring them some benefits in life. They also affirm they must believe in God 'cause it's an important part of the cult. No matter what they say, I still think they lost in looking for a religous icon. ;-) I must say this altar was placed inside the bathroom of a "Cantina" (saloon), although there were a few guys pissing all around, they prevent themselves from piss over the Holy Death. Spooky!!!!
